Greetings!  My name is Diane Hawk.  My family, led by my husband Burton Hawk, lives according to the traditional ways of Ma'heo and the Cheyenne people.  We enjoy family life and helping others as best we can.  I have had the privilege of serving my people in a variety of ways.

Provided significant assistance and advice regarding content and policies of a comprehensive portal site for Native American resources on the Internet, recognized as FORBES Best of the Web in 2000.

Cheyenne District #2 Councilwoman, 1998-2002
Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of OK (C&A Tribes), Concho, OK. Elected to serve a 4-year term as Tribal Representative for Kingfisher, El Reno, and Calumet, OK.

Treasurer, C&A Tribes, 1998-2002
Accountable for funds in lines of business of the C&A Tribes. Budgeting, appropriations, oversight, reports to tribe, BIA, and IRS. Ongoing training of personnel and coordination of special projects.

Tribal Enrollment Director, C&A Tribes, 1988-1997
Single-handed development of first tribal computerized database for processing of per-capita checks, database maintenance and upgrading, consolidation of all enrollment records into efficient file system, establishment of procedures eliminating tribal data duplication, preparation/distribution of tribal per-capita payments, research/enrollment procedure oversight, submission of resolutions.

Minors Trust Liaison between financial institution and Tribes; preparation of correspondence to release payments. Tribal membership research/correspondence.
